This feature lets admins and teachers open a landscape print layout of the current Students roster. The print view uses the same school year, language, grade, class, reading tier, and search filters you have on Students, so what you see on screen is what prints.
Demo data notice Any names, student records, IDs, and examples shown in this documentation section are fictitious sample data for demonstration and training purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons, schools, or records is purely coincidental.

How to open the print view

  1. Sign in at app.hflow.pro and open Students.
  2. Set your filters (school year, language, and any grade, class, reading tier, or search you need). Teachers choose one or more assignments first; the roster must match the assignment you want on paper.
  3. Optionally turn on Show Reading Only if you want a reading-focused layout on the main roster.
  4. In the page header, click the print roster control (table icon). A new browser tab opens with the printable table.
If you are a teacher and nothing is selected under assignments, hFlow asks you to pick an assignment before opening print. Admins must choose a school year and language before print opens. After the tab loads, use Print for your browser’s print dialog or Copy to paste the table into email or a document. The header row shows language, grade or class summary, school year, and today’s date.

What the table includes

Each student row lists Beginning of Year, Middle of Year, and End of Year scheduled assessments. For every period, the table shows:
ColumnMeaning
FluFluency count (tier colors when a reading tier applies)
AccAccuracy percentage
Levels (under Reading)Reading comprehension (Good / Partial / Low) and reading ACTFL level when entered
When your organization has listening, speaking, or writing scores on the roster, and Show Reading Only is off on Students when you open print, extra Listening, Speaking, and Writing columns appear for each period. Each shows abbreviated comprehension (At / Appr. / Below) and ACTFL level when present. A short legend above the table explains those abbreviations. When Show Reading Only is on on Students before you open print, the print tab shows only the reading columns (Flu, Acc, and Reading levels). Listening, Speaking, and Writing columns and their legend are omitted even if some students have language-skill data on file. Students are sorted by reading tier (Tier 1, then Tier 2, then Tier 3, then unassigned), then by latest fluency, then by name, matching the main roster order.

Admin vs teacher

RolePrint access
Owner / adminFull filter bar; print uses selected year, language, grades, classes, reading tiers, and search.
TeacherPrint uses the selected assignment(s) scope and search; no import, export, or add-student actions on Students.
Show Reading Only is saved per user on Students but is not stored in saved shortcuts. Turn it on before opening print when you want a reading-only printout.

Tips for printing

  • Use your browser’s print preview; the layout is tuned for letter, landscape.
  • Re-open print from Students after you change filters or Show Reading Only, the print tab does not update live when you change settings on the main page.
  • For spreadsheet exports with more columns, use Export CSV on Students (admins only).
