Candidate students are learners your school is evaluating before they appear on the main Students roster. Organization administrators use this area to capture assessment results and, when ready, move a candidate into enrollment for the next school year or grade path the product suggests.
Demo data notice Any names, student records, IDs, and examples shown in this documentation section are fictitious sample data for demonstration and training purposes only. Any resemblance to real persons, schools, or records is purely coincidental.

Who can use this page

  • Organization administrators and owners see Candidate Students under the Students menu.
  • Teachers and other roles do not see this entry.

How to open the list

  1. In the header, open Students.
  2. Click Candidate Students.
The table is sorted by last name, then first name.

How to add a candidate (summary)

  1. Click the action that creates a candidate (for example Add candidate: match the button on your screen).
  2. Enter name, demographics, and the assessment school year / grade plus the planned enrollment school year / grade fields the modal shows.
  3. Save. The candidate appears in the table.

How to record assessments and enroll

  1. Click a candidate name to open the detail drawer.
  2. Open the Assessments tab. Each assessment appears as a full card (reading totals plus listening, speaking, and writing when recorded). Click a card to view or edit; use Add assessment for a new one.
  3. When the family accepts placement, use Enroll (or equivalent) inside the drawer. The learner should then appear through normal Students and Enrollment flows.
After enrollment they appear as a regular student on the roster and in reports; their earlier candidate assessments remain available where your role allows you to review history. For day-to-day roster work after enrollment, return to Students overview.
